David - it has been 17 days since you last posted anything!!! What is wrong with you? I can only hope that my recent resurgence inspires you to write once again about a man whom we must never forget. Even though most people can't even say his name properly let alone actually know who he was, this blog is essential in ensuring that his legacy lives on. Blog on my friend, blog on. I am glad to have found your blog. I also have been inspired by George Mueller as well as Hudson Taylor. I read the biographies as a teen as required reading in Christian school, and re-read them again in the past year.
I also saw the new DVD out on George Mueller and glad you have posted your comments as I plan on ordering it soon. BTW, I found your blog by searching for the DVD.
Re-reading these two biographies has helped my prayer life as well as increasing my faith. My husband and I are in the process of adopting a child from China and I know if God can provide for over a thousand orphans that he entrusted in George's care that he can do the same for our family.
