Joy In Serving Jesus

The late Oswald. J. Smith, missionary statesman, author and pastor, penned a beloved hymn that states "There is joy in serving Jesus."

George Muller echoes those sentiments in this quote:

“I am not only content simply to be a hammer, an axe, or a saw, in God’s hands; but I shall count it an honor to be taken up and used by Him in any way; and if sinners are converted through my instrumentality, from my inmost soul I will give Him all the glory. The Lord gave me to see fruit; the Lord gave me to see fruit in abundance; sinners were converted by scores; and ever since God has used me in one way or other in His service."

God Provides...Still

To all the readers of this George Muller blog...The past six months have been very hectic.  I apologize for not posting anything recently.  The fact remains that God continues to be faithful.  He provided for George Muller miraculously and He can and will do the same for us in this generation.  Philippians 4:19 has no expiry date.

"But my God shall suppy all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19

"My business is with all my might to serve my own generation. In doing so I shall best serve the next generation, should the Lord tarry.  I have but one life to live on earth and this one life is but a brief life for sowing in comparison with eternity for reaping".  - George Muller
